If you’ve been trying to get into market research companies you will know that your location plays a large part in whether they give you surveys or not. If you are based outside the USA, then you will probably struggle to find enough market research companies to deal with. Most of them are only interested in people in the USA and Canada. Part of the problem is because most survey directories like Survey Scout and Surveys4Checks are primarily focused on the US market.

However, if you are based in the United Kingdom (or even elsewhere in Europe) there’s a massive demand and a big opportunity. Mainly because it’s less competitive and many market research companies in the UK are willing to pay more for surveys. If you are in the UK, then Surveyhawk is a name you need to familiarize yourself with. They are by far the biggest and best for European surveys.

Since I am mainly working in the US and Canadian markets I’ve never been a member of Surveyhawk. Most Surveyhawk reviews are very positive and they’ve been around for a long time. A lot of people from the UK have been asking me about Surveyhawk and if Survey Hawk is a scam.

Fortunately my good friend Alice has been a Surveyhawk member for the last 2 years and she has a hugely successful work from home business. I’ve asked her to write a quick Surveyhawk review to tell you guys more about them and what her experiences has been.

Hi Sharon, I would gladly tell your readers about Surveyhawk.

When I first got involved in online surveys the two things that I found most frustrating was the fact that almost all the survey sites on the internet only listed market research companies that was based in the US and Canada. Being in England was a problem as finding surveys was pretty scarce and although I had the time to dedicate to surveys, I never got into enough to make a substantial income from it.

The second problem was that when I did get into US based surveys, the reward was pretty small. If you convert $15 into British pounds then it’s hardly worth the effort. The fact of the matter is, that there was a lot of UK based market research companies looking for people in the UK to take surveys – surveys that will pay in pounds.

This was when Surveyhawk came along. They are dedicated almost exclusively to listing UK and Europe based online surveys. If you compare the amount of listings they have to any of the big US based survey sites like Survey Scout, then you will probably think that it’s quite small. The UK market is much smaller though and if anything it’s a bit more sophisticated.

Not only does the surveys pay much better than US based surveys, but you get a lot more surveys from the same market research companies. The US market seems to be flooded with thousands of eager work at home moms trying to get a piece of the action. In the UK there seems to be a lot less interest in online surveys which leaves a lot of opportunity on the table if you are in the UK and looking to get going with online surveys.

I can highly recommend Surveyhawk for anyone in the UK. If you are in the US and trying to get into the UK market, then you probably shouldn’t even try. I know of some people who tried it, but you got to keep in mind that market research companies are VERY interested in demographics and they particularly want to target people in the United Kingdom for specific product research.

If you are in the UK, you should start out with Surveyhawk. Once you’ve established yourself and you start making a decent income you can tr and break into the US market which is much harder if you are based in the UK.
